It is said that when bankers get together they talk about art and when
artists get together they talk about money. I am here to talk about money.
I was accepted to graduate school at the Otago Polytechnic University in
Dunedin, New Zealand. It is a great opportunity for me to pursue my
interest in ceramics and hopefully fullfilling my hopes of making it my
career. Right now I am struggling to find a way to pay for it.
I have looked through several scholarship search engines including
www.scholarships.com and www.fastweb.com I have found a couple
possibilities but nothing firm yet. I will continue to look through
these.
The school is not recognized by the Secretary of Education, therefore I
can't apply for Stafford Loans, Fullbright scholarships, or any student
loan programs that I have found so far. If I do need to take loans I
will. I don't want to pass up this opportunity so I will do whatever it
takes.
If you have any suggestions at all I would love to hear them. Also if you
have any ideas of how to get the most people to read this on the listserv
that would be great also!
Thanks for your help,
Brad Wood
