If anyone can help me I would be very greatful.
I have just bought a secondhand electric kiln and do not have any instruction manuals with it.
I was told by the old owner how to use it but I have forgotten most of what he said and I cannot contact him as he has moved(that's why he was selling the kiln).
It has one dial for, I am assuming, setting the temp and another, again assuming, for time.
If anyone can email me some basics on operating an electric kiln, temp charts/times for bisque firing of different clays and the same for glazes/sub glazes/oxides it would prove invaluable to me.
I have just spent the last 3 hours searching the net, both here in Australia and around the world, and have not been able to find anywhere to offer any help in these regards. If you cannot help me directly, could you please email me some site addresses that will help me find what I am looking for.
my email is "bembokabob@hotmail.com"
Thank you, Damian.

You don't say who the manufacturer is, but, in general, you can give
them a call and they'll send you a manual.
My personal experience is with Skutt, who are very very helpful. They
have technical assistance, and also an on-line operating manual. =20
