i did not use a sound system.
i just ran a 25 foot wire and added a pilot lite.
i can see it above my wheel.
i know when it is done.
don't have to go to the kiln room.

at school i had a 220 watt light bulb system
above my desk hooked to the kiln main.
if the light was on when i left...well it lite the office.
opps, the kiln is on, and i was going to go home.
not good.
