If you signed up for a pottery class at the Maryland Institute, College
of Art, in Baltimore you would have a short drive and could have access
to the pottery studio all day long. I graduated from there many years
ago. It is filled with wonderful people and the amount of information
you can learn is endless. They have a subway system now and traveling
is pretty easy. Their pottery studio is great.

They have great dark room facilities as well. When I lived in Baltimore, I
took evening photography classes so that I would have access to their dark
rooms.
I seem to have missed the original email. If you are moving to Baltimore,
don't miss Baltimore Clayworks. That's where I learned to throw. Wonderful
place; wonderful people. It is also close to public transportation.
