Hello all,
last year I had a discussion with Smart.Conseil on
this issue and he told me that not all types of this
mineral leach.
II seems it depends on the deposit where they come from.

Neph Sy is an interesting material - no free silica - unusual for the
materials we use. When compared to the feldspars we can see - it is short
of silica. This explains the sodium leaching - glazes short of silica
leach.
The Neph Sy used in North America comes from a mine not far from where I
live - and depending on grind of course - it does leach - quickly and
predictably.
