The truth is, if you had a ceramics show on genitalia, as you mentioned,
not too many folks would come to see it. Why ? Because, it would be boring.
The only thing that makes it fun is to call the ceramics show something
like...."Flowers" and then spring it on the unsuspecting bastards as they
come into the gallery. After the euphoria of that wears off , the next show
could be called......"Love" and when the suckers enter the gallery you can
have a giant image of Christ with a big pile of crap on his head ......yea,
and then the next show could be in th subway with black boxes, because you
can't get anybody to fall for coming to the galleries anymore.
