With regard to Paul's search for a good kiln and burner design, I'd like to
suggest a source that I keep forgetting to mention. Try www.kilnman.com
which is Cameron Harman's website. He used to post Clayart about kilns and
other stuff but he doesn't seem to be doing that any longer. He makes some
very hi tech kilns that will fire with excellent control, atmosphere, and
temp rise. Some of these are pictured on his website. You might give it a
gander.
