Geez, Tom, I'm not getting anything done, and it's all your fault!!

I previously posted the address for the British Museum and recommended
typing in the word pottery in the search box; that address brought several
WOWS from fellow claybuds. I have others that I've discovered that I
equally love. These include the Metropolitan Museum. Go to the following
address:
http://www.metmuseum.org/collections/index.asp?HomePageLink=collections_l
You will find a whole list of collections; pick one and double tap. Look to
the top of the page that comes up; most but not all will allow you to call
up 50 thumbnails; these are very high quality pictures much like the
British Museum whose address I'll repeat:
http://www.thebritishmuseum.ac.uk/compass/ixbin/hixclient.exe?_IXDB_=compass&sea
rch-form=graphical/main.html&submit-button=search
Tap on the search button and type in pottery; hundreds of images and
descriptions.
A third site entitled art history resources on the web may be the most
comprehensive. It contains among other things good quality painting
reproductions from most of the masters in addition to prehistoric and early
historic works of art. My wife loves Chagall and she goggled eyed over the
reproductions of his that are available on this site - litterally dozens.
This site is so comprehensive that after some weeks, I'm still floundering.
The worst thing about these sites is that it makes you want to just sit at
the computer. The address for the last referenced site is as follows:
http://witcombe.sbc.edu/ARTHLinks.html
Hope these sites please all as much as me.
