I have also experienced problems with the wheel turning itself when the
foot pedal is off, and not stopping when the pedal is depressed. I
tried all the adjustments to the two controllers, even adjusted the
placement of the plastic arm that moves the rod. Nothing seemed to
help. Then my spouse listened while I explained what was wrong, and
what I had tried. Turned out to be a simple matter of the exterior bolt
assembly being way too tight. Loosening it up allowed the interior
works to move as they are intended. I imagine they tighten those pedal
bolts till they feel tight, and don't check to see how tight is enough!
