vancouver, canada pottery suppliers

Hi,

My computer gets boggled by major searches in Yellowpages, so am wondering
of the BC potters on the list, if there are any clay suppliers more central
to downtown Vancouver than Greenbarn Pottery supply is.

Just looking for some medium fire Plainsman or other clays; actually asking
this for a friend. I know that Edmonton and Calgary have several suppliers
and would be surprised if Vancouver did not as well.

Thank you.

Hi Autumn,

There is another place called "The Mad Potter" that sells clay. It is at :
#6-3071 No. 5 Road, Richmond (near Bridgeport) Tel: (604) 244-3734

I have never been there but I believe it is a studio situation with some
supplies. I do know they sell clay but I don't know that they carry any
Plainsman. Greenbarn Potters Supply in Surrey and Pottery Warehouse on
Vancouver Island are both owned by Plainsman.

Surprise! Surprise! Vancouver does not have several suppliers.

Janet, who is thrilled to be able to take a course at our local college
this term instructed by Gordon Hutchens, who is very knowledgeable and
generous! It's been a long time since I have gone to school at all and
I'm like a little kid starting kindergarten.
