Hi Brian,

I'm glad Craig already replied (with good advice) to your post and you may
well get more, but it's possible you'll get fewer responses than usual at
this time, because clay traps have been discussed quite a bit in the past
including just a few months ago, and people may not want to rewrite info too
often.

Are you familiar with the Clayart archives? - here are links to two
different versions :

http://lsv.ceramics.org/archivedata/clayart.html
In this one enter what you're searching for in the "For:" box, not
the "Subject:" box, since the latter refers to words/phrases only in the
subject line of a post. On your topic, to do a really thorough search,
you'd want to do several separate searches - clay trap, clay traps, sink
trap, sink traps (you'l get tons of posts doing this - I just did it
myself)

http://www.potters.org/categories.htm
This archive is indexed by topic. I found many posts under
Equipment / Misc./ sink traps, but not nearly as many as when I used the
regular Clayart archive (above).

Regards,
Diane Winters
in Oakland/Berkeley by the Bay, where we are having (generally so far) an
absolutely amazingly mild January - even a few days of shirtsleeves
weather - I just went out in the backyard barefoot - delicious! One of my
outdoor Cymbidium orchids has 24 large flowers fully open.
