The only potter I know who managed to import Limoge is Tom Coleman, though I don't have a phone number for
him. He lives in Henderson, Nevada, outside Las Vegas. Are you wanting a completed body or are you looking for kaolin?

I suppose this post is mostly for our British friends.

I am interested in importing Limoge porcelain, preferably dry. Does
anyone have information on who supplies it, and who would import it?
(Yes, I know it's not cheap). =20

Complete body. I know it is readily available in the UK, but I don't
know who will import it.

Potterycrafts here in the UK sell it plastic and powdered
(http://www.potterycrafts.co.uk), it is listed as an Imery Product;
Imerys are a French company that own English China Clays, and I suspect
Limoge. among many others (http://www.imerys.com).
There is a contact link on the Imerys site. Potterycrafts have an on-
line catalogue.

Good hunting

I live in France, near Bordeaux and can give you the addresses of French
suppliers of Limoges Porcelain. I get my materials from Solargil, which is a
clay specialist in the region of St Amande de Puisaye. I know they supply
Limoges Porcelain. They have a website, but as far as I know, you can't buy
online. I thuink the website is only in French, but they may have an English
version. The site is at http://www.solargil.fr
It would probably be a good bet to contact Potclays at Stoke in England. They
may already import a Limoges porcelaine. They have some sort of arrangement
with Ceradel, which is another big French potters supplier. I'll try to find
the names of some companies that produce the porcelaine direct. this would,
of course, be cheaper, but you'd have to commit yourself to a big order to
make it worth your while.
Bets of luck.... Jerry Coleman
