I don't know the anwer to Mike's question, but I was wondering if people can
post their own nightmares come true and how it has affected them. I have
always been haunted by a piece I rakued in college that two years later
suddenly went "ping" and a piece of glaze popped off. two days later the
piece wass glazeless. Always wondered if that happened to other pieces sold
through our Ceramics Club. It makes me wonder will all those tests for fit
show up that kid of tendency?

I've sold some flat tile type pieces in raku that I epoxied strips of wood
on the back to run wires through for hanging. My paranoid mind is now
wondering if the carbon buildup on the bare clay is acting as a barrior
between the clay and epoxy and pieces are suddenly falling somewhere. I'm
hoping Vince or Snail or someone can calm my fears.
Mike
