Hi Doug,

With my kiln I don't change the firing schedule, just watch the pyrometer
and oxy-probe and roll with the punches. However I do pay attention to small
details in a slightly different way. Freshly glazed pots are dried overnight
in the heated studio before I put them into the kiln. I'm a little more zen
about covering the burner ports when the firing is done especially if it's
windy. Basically just common sense things.
