Silly me. In my last reply on this threat I was envisioning 5 gallon
plastic pickle jars with the snap on lids. they do make these gallon
pickle jars in plastic, they might be better.

I was just thinking the same thing... a glass jar rolling around
the back of my van??? Crash....... glass...... fragments....

What about a plastic gallon jar or a metal can with a secure lid. Then all
I'd have to deal with is my husband complaining about the odd noises the van
is making and insisting I take it in to be serviced!-o
What... you think I could actually tell him what the source of that noise is
and not be laughed out of town. HA!

I'd also have to have a new gauge installed.... MPBM (Miles Per Ball Mill).

Sorry... I'm just goofy from cleaning and organizing my studio for the past
few days.

Yes, the ball mill is in Chinese Stoneware glazes by Grebanier.

Yes, a gallon pickle rolling around in the back of the Jeep is great. Till
the jar, which is not designed for that breaks. If you must do it that way
think of a way to protect the glass from breakage, adn your Jeep from glass
bits and glaze.

Yes, a gallon pickle rolling around in the back of the Jeep is great. Till

think of a way to protect the glass from breakage, adn your Jeep from glass

Back east, our ball mill jar was heavy ceramic. It rested between two roller
rods, one turned by a Briggs-Stratton motor. Easy and cheap to make. Brings
back great memories. Thanks.
