I have recently decided to give majolica glazing a try, but I have a problem
with the colors (mostly just greens and blues) bubbling so that there are
white bubbles in the colors. I am using Highwater Clay's opaque white base
over a low-fire red clay. The green leaves on a pitcher ( I just got my
Burpee catalogue so I was inspired by veggies) look like a bug has been
eating them-an almost lacy effect). I am firing in an electric kiln at cone
05, as suggested by the glaze label. Any suggestions? Ann
