To the person who had to put their hand in the glaze bucket....Don't do
it. Bad habit and an unsafe one.
We have extra buckets and when the glaze will not remix we decant the
glaze into another bucket through a screen then use a tool to get at the
packed parts.
That we there is no glaze under the fingernails or in the cuticles that
is later ingested. Mixing with your hand is bad with Manganese and with
copper, or cobalt as well.
It is best to try to keep contact with the glaze to a minimum, same
with dust. Lord knows that we will be handling it enough anyway.
