Dear Roger Korn=20

For the first kiln I ever built I used four three foot by six inch sewer =
pipes.

When I was stoking full load and the temperature was rising well this =
stack would give out a deep bass tone, something like a lower G. a =
delightful sound. Kiln Music.

Best regards,

Ivor Lewis.

Roger,

Speaking of short chimneys...

Try measuring the dimensions of a Bailey downdraft. Chimney height, width
of chimney, flue, burner ports, angle of bricks at burner ports, etc.

Then compare those numbers to the Olsen "rules". It is not even close and
yet and it works great.
