I'm certain I would have picked up on the idea from my reading at some =
time or other.=20
It is a bit of a messy thing to get right so that there is a good seal =
when building with fibre but it really works and saves having the stuff =
hanging loose at the rear of the kiln.
Know what you mean about having a few bricks around the place. Some of =
the old style refractories were probably over engineered, built for =
endurance not down to a price.
Good to exchange ideas.
