Hi!
John Hesselberth wrote in an article about drip free spouts that the =
non-wettability of the glaze is important for a good spout. But the =
wettability is a thing I didn't read about in any book about glazes I =
read. Now I would like to know what I need for such a non-wettable =
glaze. I guess that a matte surface is better than a shiny one, but I =
fear a matte surface for a spout gets dirty rather quickly. But I heard =
from a sanitary ceramic with a lotus-like self-cleaning (or rather =
non-sticky to water and dirt) surface, how can I get such an surface?
Tschau,
Sabine
