Hallo
Snowy Norfolk, very pretty, there are now 3, 3ft high snow-cats on the =
village green. They started off as snowmen, but got a bit girly.
I have heard that the chaps who made my kiln, "kilns and furnaces" in =
Stoke, have gone into liquidation. This is probably a very nieve =
question, but if an element goes in my kiln, are they a standard size, =
or am I in trouble now the maker has gone phut? it's a single phase =
toploader.
It hasnt happened yet, but it must come soon, they dont last forever.
cheers
pat,

Pat-
When it comes to elements, you can always call Euclids. They will have the exact elements you'll need. Get a whole set, not just one coil, when you do replace them.
good luck

Duralite here in Connecticut and other coil manufacturers keep records of coil
lengths relevant to the manufacturer. Sending the coil to them is the best bet
with the necessary voltage, number of coils and your circuit breaker amp
rating. I once bought a very small kiln wired for 220 volts and requested the
coil be changed to 120 volt.Talk to them about you needs at this time. If you
have a cooler section such as towards the base, you can ask for a hotter coil
as well. Look for heating coil or kiln coil manufacturer on the web. Good
Luck!
