randall wheel-small bats

Any suggestions on how to make the small plaster bats fit to the wheel head
would be greatly appreciated

I have the plastic molds for making plaster bats.. I have 2 molds for
making small bats-6 inch- but I do not know what to do with what I have to
make a "holder" for the small bats as they do not just fit in the wheel
head. I have one mold that looks sort of like a donut. Nothing seems to
work..Since randall is out of business, I am not sure what to do.

Bruce,
I ordered accessories from Randall last April. They no longer make
wheels but they do (or did in April) have an inventory of parts &
accessories. Here's the address and phone:
Randall Wheel & Pottery
49 Ramsey Park
Rochester, NY 14610
Phone/fax (716)288-0982
While we're on the subject of Randalls, what kind of setup...table,
shelf, do other owners have for their tools, water container? I've just
moved my studio from a 20' x 30' area to a 6' x 8' screen room, so I need an
idea for something that takes up zero floor space...a shelf/table that either
straddles the wheel's frame or attaches to it.
Any ideas out there?
Thanks,
Cher

When I taught at the Philbrook Museum School, the 15 Randall wheels were
set into a formica counter top that ran along 3 walls with a half circle
cut out to fit each wheel's pan. I think the counter depth was 24" and
at the level of the top of the pan. It was handy for students to set
fresh work on, water pans, and tools.
Hope this helps.
