Dear All

Can anyone advise on a good source of ceramic materials in the Netherlands
(Province North Holland or Groningen). I am an Australian who moved here
recently and am having trouble tracking down a source.

In addition to seeking materials I also need to buy a wheel. I would like
to have an electric direct drive wheel - can anyone advise of a good
quality more locally made European brand for the studio potter (in
Australia I very much liked the Venco brand). Further to this has anyone
ever heard of a "Silex" brand wheel, or a "Veka" brand wheel - I have seen
these advertised.

Much obliged

Dear Edward,

Dutch potter Nick Hoogland is over in England at the moment doing a workshop
at Rufford International Craft Centre. He is coming round on Saturday
Evening. I will ask if he can help you and let you have his contact
details. He works in Slipware. He also fluent in English.

Regards

David Binch
