OK Gang:

Got one brave taker on the contest so far. Gayle sent in 2 pics for our =
viewing. Check it out at:
http://tonyolsen.com/up/
So search the hard drive or scan in that old picture from earlier work =
(especially that one that was destined to clean out a cement mixer or =
become part of a mosaic or future archeological wonderment) and send it =
in. (include your web page URL if you have one)
There is a handy link at the bottom of the page to click and email to =
me. =20
This exercise should have the benefit of cleansing and remembering =
previous experience that went wrong. ( I did that, but I'm better now ) =
It may also prevent others from going down a path that just doesn't =
work.

After this, I'll put up a pretty pot page.

Has anyone heard a blue grass tune called "Red Clay Halo"? Nice tune =
for the studio.

Take care, and good potting to all.

Tony

Gayle, I think you've misinterpreted the appearance of that second
teapot---it looks like the stuff you sometimes see in CM (one of the reasons
I no longer subscribe - ). I have a teapot that I keep around for the
sole purpose of showing students what something could look like if you don't
have integrated parts, balance, etc. Will definitely photograph it and send
it to Tony's website!
Incidentally, I love the tea cups that go with that first pot!

Hi Dai,
Oh... I guess I did misinterpret the appearance.... and what
Tony requested. I sent my" fugglie" pots not just the ugly ones!->
I did tell Tony that since my truly over the top ugly pots never saw the
light of day I don't have photos of them!
He has us at a slight disadvantage as he is making this one
on purpose.
Tony's idea really tickled my funny bone!
As I was thinking about it occurred to me what
a great exercise it would be to intentionally make
an ugly & flawed teapot!
So I suggested in the future we perhaps
we could have such a contest.

Gayle Bair- you will not find the word "fugglie" in any dictionary....
figure it out!
