Hello,
Planning to travel around North Carolina between April 7-8 and 10-
11, either coastal area around/up Cape Fear, either Asheville or
wide Smokey Mountain territory....
I was invited to perform "Naked Raku" workshops during weekends of
April 5-6 and 12-13, both "Combo" sessions with Linda and Charles
Riggs at their new studio in Carthage NC.
Would very much like to visit other potters in above area.
Any travel-tips or "not to be missed" hints also wellcome.
Please contact me off-list at :
corneel51@yahoo.com
Thanks,
Wally Asselberghs
Flanders, Europe.

That shouldn't be too hard, you can't swing a cat in North Carolina
without hitting a potter.

When I travel to specific places, I keep a "scrapbook" that contains
brochures, business cards, pictures, addresses, just about anything. I
use those cloth-bound, blank books that you can find here. (I've got
pretty good at folding anything into a B5 size and gluing it into those
books.) I have them from my time in Japan, NY, Colorado and fortunately
for you, North Carolina. You're welcome to go through it but here's the
catch. You have to come to Brussels to do it. I also have a copy of
"North Carolina Potters" for extra bait.

I'll supply the beer.

It's the pots that will be naked, right? ;-)

And lastly, for Clayarters >> Flanders, Europe. << is in Belgium.

Russel (maybe this is how I finally get to meet you!!)
