beetles for wings. i didn' read the 2nd page, quoted as below:
i feel much better.=20
now curious to see some pictures of blue-green=20
glitters in the trash pile behind the restaurants.=20
an interesting/contrasting shooting material.=20
beetle wings, mussel shells, broken china, carrot ends, ....

according to NYT,
For more than three years, Mr. Fabre said, he collected=20
Asian jewel beetles, mobilizing the entomology departments=20
of universities, researchers in the fields and above all a=20
network of people picking them up from restaurant kitchens=20
in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. "People cook them and=20
eat them there the way we Belgians eat mussels," he said.=20
`'They are meant to be full of protein."

At first people were shocked, he went on. "Many people=20
thought I was crushing thousands of creatures," said Mr. Fabre,=20
who was now stomping his right foot on the palace parquet floor.=20
"Truth is, restaurants throw these hard wing covers away=20
