Just another thought about this one.
If soluble salts are being created then when the glaze is applied to the =
clay, surely some of the fluid is sucked into the clay. If it is a soda =
rich solution then perhaps it will affect the way the body matures and =
also change the anticipated nature of the final product.
I would be cautious.
