Looking for your brightest turquoise glaze recipes to help me finish my
final year-end show at the little Kootenay School of Arts in Nelson, BC.
My place settings are out of Plainsman 570 porcelaneous stoneware. I have
slip and applique relief detailing on them. I am desperate for a glaze
that will show off this relief - as a celadon would in Rx relief. I'm
working cone 9-10 electric but will move this series to cone 6 if the
right colour came along. Just trying stains now...but not my first choice
because of cost. Food safe is a big concern.... Thanks for any
recipes.... Also looking for compatible safe beautiful liner with that
turquoise.....
Someone mentioned that the copper carb colour will be a brighter turquoise
colour if a certain ingredient is in the recipe... There's your trivia
head scratch for the day... Thanks for your generosity...! Janine
