I had a wonderful time as I think all my new friends did. Eric and Carlos
are wonderful hosts; Macrina & Alberta are delightful teachers. I can't
say that any one part of the workshop was better than another, we had the
opportunity to make pottery, visit other villages using other techniques and
methods, time in Oaxaca City, exploring ruins just now being excavated, we
visited a family that lives in a village who's primary occupation is
weaving. It was all great!

The food was better than anything I've ever had here, and I eat at an
authentic Mexican restaurant every Wednesday. (don't tell Rodrigo I said
that).

I'd encourage anyone that is considering the workshop to sign up.

Someone said that they had heard of a clay mix called Mike's Mud, comparable
to what is used in Oaxaca, does anyone have the recipe? I've search
archives and google, but didn't find it.

I got snowed in at the st louis airport, 1/2 hour flight from home and had
to wait an entire day for the next available flight. It made my vacation a
day longer but I would have much rather spent it on the beach at Puerto
Escondido sipping a corona.
