Scarva Pottery Supplies - the Genie Wheel

http://www.scarvapottery.com/opencontent/default.asp?itemid=36§ion=PRODUCTS

British tabletop model for demo's - weighs under 30 lb. Expensive at
nearly GBP400 (without VAT, or sales tax)
Vacuum formed, self-coloured 4mm thick body made of recycled ABS
plastic.
13amp/240V supply - transformed internally to 24 volt - connected to a
gearbox direct drive to the wheel head.
Variable speed cont 24 volt DC 1/5 motor, giving total speed control
operating through a printed circuit board.
Would need a way of getting at 240 volts in North American usage. (I
don't know if travel convertors would work.)

Cromartie Kilns & Hobbycraft

Another British company with several light duty wheels. One is a
standing treadle wheel that comes in shorter sizes for children.
Another is the Momentum Wheel, described as similar to wheels used in
Japan and Korea, being a small, portable potters wheel that is rotated
either by hand or with a push stick.

Google search for "Boston Wheel"

You should be able to see two images of one of the Boston wheel models
here, one with the wheelhead removed.
The company's own web site has already been posted by others.
