Just wondering if anybody out there has tried Laguna's new ^6 B-mix with
grog?
I've thrown a couple of small (7-8") vases & slab-rolled & carved a few
tiles, but have not fired any yet.
Seems great to throw & more sturdy than regular b-mix... no surprise there,
but the surface definitely shows the grog.

Hi Jimmy,
I have been using it for about 6 months & love it!
I use a metal rib on a sharp angle to
"burnish" the grog back into the clay and get a
smooth surface.

Jimmy,
I have been using Cone 5 B-mix with sand for a while now. I have less
cracking when making slab projects. I use it in a high school ceramics
setting and it works well. Stands up under student pressure on the wheel a
little better than straight B-mix.
