sensitivity to oxides

Dear Clayart:

I have always thought of iron oxide(you know, rust) with the same idea as
any other thing in my present environment. Everything needs to be respected
and investigated for safety. I do not adhere to experts but mainly have
sought my own council as a fish going opposite to the school. I took an
asprin one day for a headache. In twenty minutes I was having a general
allergic reaction. I recognised this as I am allergic to penicillin and
have been there before. ?But asprin??? After a ridiculous and circuitous
route guess what the culprit was? Good old iron oxide. Yep, you guessed it
I love iron saturated glazes. Mixed many hundreds over the last 20 years.
I cannot have anything coated. My question is why do the phamicutical
companies have to use this stuff? Medicine does not need to be coloured!!!!

I was reading through the material on the drugs I will be given for
chemotherapy, and one of them contains titanium dioxide and red iron oxide.
