Nils Lou is Professor of Art at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon.
Mr. Lou's repertoire includes thrown and wood fired pots, sculpture and
kiln building. He is the author of The Art of Firing, and will be
instrumental in constructing the Minnesota Flat Top car kiln in the
Museum's kiln compound prior to the workshops.
Karen Terpstra is Associate Professor of Art at the University of
Wisconsin - La Crosse. Her work also covers a broad spectrum of hand
built, wheel thrown, and sculptural ceramics. Ms. Terpstra writes
articles on a variety of subjects relating to ceramics for Ceramics
Monthly, as well as other publications.
Hope to see some clayarters in the area.
