i don't know if this has been posted, but
it was sure a kick to see 10 or 12 clayarters
swaggering across the `town and country` campus
in jet black tee shirts with `clayart` blazoned across
their chests.
reminded me of a biker gang.
only, clayart has more power.
one could not walk 10 feet without spotting a
bright blaze orange dot on a name tag.
the clayart room was not used nearly as much as
in past years....location was one thing, but really,
so many clayarters know each other that getting
lost was not possible. new folks were often just
yanked into the mix. gangs at breakfast or other meals was common.
we had over forty for dinner at the holiday inn... we just all walked in
together....they
freaked. but, the job got done...we were patient. now, that was
a lot of `loud talk and arm waving in one place`.
