I have been using a c/6 Shino type glaze made by coyote glazes out of New
Mexico. they also produce several other extremely beautiful cone 6 glazes.
Well worth checking out. Not very economical for the production orientated
studio potter. Hope this helps. Mark Knott

There is also a Falls Creek Shino which I find works very well at cone 6/7.
It should be in the archives.
If you can't find it, try me again.
All the best.

Fall Creek? As in Falls Creek, Pennsylvania?
For a very brief period of time I worked at the Jackson China pottery at
Falls Creek. Had an electrical engineering degree, but the only job I could
find at the time was carrying greenware from place to place in the factory.
