Someone must have paying attention to our discussions a couple weeks ago on
the prices/best place to buy Fluke Model 51's and 52's.
I never did see any on ebay ( as someone suggested)and couldn't wait.
I FINALLY stopped procrastinating today and ordered a mod. 52 from the
Web-Tronics people ( $209). The best deal after sorting through Axner,
Bailey, etc. Thanks to Paul Vernier who found this Web-tronics source..
I got the LAST one they had, The guy said there's been a run on them lately!
Ha!
BTW, I did get my thermocouples ordered from Baileys.

If you are going to search E-bay you should search for Fluke
thermometer, or Omega thermometer (my favorite). Searching
for a pyrometer will usually not be successful. Fluke 51's
go for $25-$50. Fluke 52's for $50- $100. Omega's (HH-21,
HH-22, HH-81, HH-82) go for about the same depending on
whether you get one channel or two channel capabilities.
These are for Type K thermocouples. Look up completed sales
to get an idea of what they have been bringing as well as
condition, price, and shipping costs. This will give you a
feel for what to expect.
You should find a single channel for $40 delivered without a
thermocouple, and $75 for a two channel. There are always
opportunities to get one for less on E-bay.
If you are going to buy new then check out the Omega at
