Dear Claybuds,
I have gone to NCECAs since 1971 only missing 3 or 4 since then.
I have always found them enriching with lots of information and lots of
shop talk with like minds of clay. I feel Clayart has added another
dimension to NCECA. I know lots of people from past experiences there,
but Clayarters are special. Its the people I visit with daily when I am
online (traveled a bit lately).
I missed so much of the activities this year because I worked our booth
but even then I missed other activities just because I went with friends
to eat or visit a show, etc.
I think of Clayart as a "Borg" brain of clay with a human side.. The
collective knowledge bumps us up a notch so much faster than anything
else I can imagine. It is almost scary!!
Anyway, breakfast at NCECA was spent looking at names with red dots
and putting names with faces. Great experience.
I teasure all of you!
