we are not shipping overseas...
that is hard to predict with a foreign product.

we are trying to make a product that is so
good, it will be not able to be knocked off.

Dear Mel,
It was so great getting to meet you an NCECA. You are better than I thought
you would be. I enjoyed you and Kurt Wild tremendously.
I would like to clarify one point about our sending pottery abroad: on our
way home, Leslie Laurent and I stopped in Ojai to visit with Otto Heino. He
sells out of his shop and on the Internet world wide. He did note that some
of his best prices come from Japan and China. I think it has to do with
that famous yellow glaze.
But, of course, that operation has nothing to do with bad (or good),
imported imitations.
I bought a beautiful, smallish yellow pot with a copper red shoulder. So I
saved it from an overseas trip.
Yours,
Charles Moore
