I boil the paper (toilet paper) for 15 minutes, then I dump a cup of bleach
in it. When it's cool, I drain off the water and add the pulp to my slip.
I have jars, some more that 9 months old, that still have no mold. I think
the paper is more responsible for the mold than the clay and boiling it
seems to kill the "spores" .
