Hi all;

1-I had done some 35 grid glaze test and I would like some comments; basic
observations and such.

2-I picked out one grid and mixed up 100 g to glaze 2 small bowls. I could
not make out some dots in the glaze; whether they were grogg or tiny
bubbles. In order to see them clearly, I need a magnifying glass. I'm not
sure which one to get. I know it has to be 10X. I checked out some lupe but
they are for slides and if there's no lighted backing it's not very
effective. If you can send a pict of it from e-bay. I'd appreciate it.

3-My third slab built teapot (first one went to the ugly teapot contest) is
leaking liquid from the lid when pouring. Some expert advice is needed.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Best Regards
May

The flange of the lid appears that it would extend down into the body
far enough to come into contact with the tea which may allow it to
follow that surface and out the opening for the lid. Perhaps try
adding a raised edge along the opening for the lid on your next
teapot.
