I just got finished with my 1st RAKU firing I have ever done. I was
excited and a little fearful but everything went better than I ever
expected.

Before this endeavor I searched the Internet for all I could get on
Raku and then went out and bought the most often reccommended book on
RAKU, "Raku: A Practical Approach, 2nd Edition by Steven Branfman.
I read it cover to cover about 4 times in the last 4 months, and
waited until I got the materials together for my RAKU Kiln.

Due to his suggestions on clay body, firing, kiln building, glazing
and post-fire reduction I got results that I had only dreamed of!!!

I want to send out a thanks to him and his work, his passion in the
RAKU arts!!!!!
