from people that are getting good carbon trap with natural gas. Yet to
hear from anyone that fires an updraft though
Hello there...
I fire an old Alpine HF-24 updraft natural gas kiln... I can get good carbon
trapping no problem.... I really don't think the fuel has any thing to do
with it.... i never let the Alpine smoke... if it smokes you're not getting
good reduction.... start reduction early. as soon as cone 010 starts to
tip... or earler... push the damper in until i get flame out the bottom peep
hole... nothing obnoxious just some flame out of it...
