area:
Of course Field Museum for ancient stuff (great collections)
Art Institute (Japanese, Korean, Greek & Roman, Mesoamerican, some =
contemporary American, etc...)
The Oriental Institute at Univ. of Chicago is closed for renovation.
Perimeter, Ann Nathan and Art + Function are a few galleries to check =
out. All feature clay usually, maybe call ahead to find out what is =
being exhibited.
