not to bang our own drum.
but, this is going to be a wonderful
conference.

we have gathered a great cast of folks to
share information. good, honest, hard working
potters..they know their stuff...and love to share.

i might add that all the presenters are giving
of their time at no cost. we are giving a small
stipend to cover the conference and some other
stuff, but not a true fee.

this is about sharing with potters.
firing information.
nils, karen, merrie bourner and others with the wood firing.
raku bob andeson, steve branfman
salt, soda, gas/ electric...mel and others. we are going to make
a gas electric from an old electric kiln...itc information too.
dannon, about shino and red.diana pancioli /cone 6 reduction.
and many many more.
we are going to keep registration at 200...keep it
small and workable.

if you miss this one, you will whine for years.

the facility at lacrosse...university of wiscosin system
is wonderful. great kilns, good studio....and you can stay
in a dorm room for almost nothing.
many meals included...parties...gatherings.
and...best of all...our presentation room holds just 200..
so everyone can attend all the lectures. and we are going to have
mics set up in the audience for questions, or additional information
from the gang. often the best information comes from
the audience.

break outs for those who want to concentrate.
all kilns will be firing. all weeekend.
nils will be a smarty pants. karen will really let you know
how to do things.
it will be fun, exciting, and we hope a first. (of many to come)
