carbon trapping other glazes

I have been doing carbon trap shino in our small 6 cubic foot test kiln, but
I would like to do it in our large 50 cubic foot downdraft. I am concerned
about the effect of the carbon trap firing on our other glazes. Has anyone
had negative experiences with this. I am guessing that it would probably
only help copper reds, but what about celadons, oribes, spodumenes, and matt
glazes?

David, I fire celadons, tenmoku, chun, and rutile blue along with
shino glazes, and have never had a problem with other glazes getting
carbon trapping.

David,

I just started firing carbon trap shino in the past few months, and have
been testing other glazes in the kiln loads. Copper red, celadon, and
tenmoku are good companions. Oribe will become a copper red or a christmas
pot. A rutile blue glaze test showed some nice potential, so I'll try more
of that. Good luck.
