Does anyone know the resipe for self-centered clay. I know it
has at least 20%myopic clay? I would appreciate any help you

Okay, I have to share this story!
When one of our current instructors at Arapahoe Community College was
brand new he loved to tell the students in all seriousness, "Now, when you
go to Mile Hi (our clay supplier) to buy clay make sure and ask for the self
centering clay. They'll pretend that they don't know what you're talking
about, but just be persistent and they will finally sell it to you. It's
really expensive, about $100 for 25 pounds, but if you buy it you will have
an A for the trowing assignments..." Everyone always laughs...
A few months ago I was helping one of the employees of Mile Hi with a
firing when I told her that we should play a joke on this instructor by
having her call him up and yell at him for sending all these kids down
harrassing them for the self-centering clay. She gave me this funny look
and said, "We've already had a couple come by, and boy! they don't take no
for an answer. I just kept laughing but trying to keep a straight face and
telling them there was no such thing! One person was a bit miffed..."
The instructor is now making sure that everyone knows he's joking!!!
