I spray all my ash glazes. I seive through a 40 mesh and then a 80 mesh. I
spray at 40 PSI. The glaze is like cream

Hi Gene,
I spray quite a lot -- the Paasche sprayer that nearly everyone carries: I
guess that's refered to as a gravity feed..

I do not thin my glazes in order to spray, but I do sieve every time I use
a glaze. I sieve mostly through 80 mesh, occasionally 60. Prefer 80.
When I mix my glaze, I sieve it 3 times before putting it away. Then I
sieve once each time I use it. No ball milling.
Hope this helps.
