i like nils` comment on hardbrick.
`they make for great patios and streets, but lousy kilns.`.
false economy to build a kiln with hard brick..unless
it is salt /soda etc.
the cost of fuel is what engines a kiln.
in fact the pottery.
why triple your firing costs to save a few
cents on brick...? and that extra cost may last
for 20 years.
soft brick/itc 100 will give you that wonderful
reflective heat quality.
