Kaolins by difinition are all pretty much the same - I would say yes but
there are some glazes that are so unbalanced that there could be a change -
it would help if I knew the recipe you are going to try.

Although I beleive technically speaking the "Potter Jargon" of Georgia
Kaolin actually is suposed to mean Pioneer brand Koalin if you look at the
technical data for the two you would think you could exchange them easily
in a good recipe. I say good because some glazes really shouldnt work,
somehow do, and then when something subtle changes all hell breaks loose.

Or in more lay terms.

Generally yes in a glaze, and not in a casting slip.

But these days who needs a good doll porcelein anyway

well technically speaking the "potter Jargon" i continually see georgia k=
aolin refered to as "tile 6 clay" ... i may be wrong. but i do believe t=
hat epk is interchangable with it. =20
