Dear Friends,
Could the alteration in colour be due to differences in Mesh Size. Some =
brightly coloured minerals disintegrate into white powders when they are =
pulverised into impalpable powders. The note from Ruth Ballou alerted me =
to this possibility. Her brighter green might have much larger =
particles. These, though they have the same density, would be heavier =
and hence, sink faster.
